Looks like it’s been quite some time between blog posts and it’s time I explained. Eyelashes. I guess it’s probably just natural guys and gurls start off liking a nice pair of satin, silky or shiny underwear. Then we might try on the wife’s bra or slip just for fun. That feeling of doing the wrong thing, being a bit sneaky or simply having some harmless fun and being a rebel becomes easier over time.
The slope becomes slippery and you suddenly find yourself in knee high boots with 4 inch heels, bodycon dress and a pile of foundation in 26 different shades! Yet the effect isn’t enough and you think maybe eyelashes will do the trick. Well good luck with that! If you thought it was hard enough doing lingerie, outerwear, boots and makeup you’re in for a shock when it comes to eyelashes. Application of those expensive, delicate, sticky or magnetic SOB’s will surely test your patience. Or is that just me?
Disregarding those eyelashes, next time you your wife/girlfriend/significant other delays you because they’re ‘putting on their makeup’, show some appreciation. It’s a work of art and great art takes time so suck it up and tell her how great she looks!

Well it’s great to be back from Vegas. I think there should be a warning as you enter the city limits that clearly states you can only stay a maximum of 3 nights. More than a week is not good for the body..
Now that we’re back we have the final release from our 2016/2017 collection now available. Frida is a pink cotton and chiffon set comprised of a panty, bra and teddy. The teddy was a late change from a cami so there are no model pics as yet. We will update that once we complete our 2017/2018 model pics.

For those of you that wanted a padded bra the Frida bra is once you will love. We have created a padded bra with underwire tubing but WITHOUT the underwire. This allows the bra to hug your body while still maintaining the shape of the cups. The cups designed to be between a B and C cup size to allow for inserts too!

We also went with a late change and made a cotton and sheer matching Teddy rather than the cami we had initially planned. The Teddy in cotton is a great sleepwear garment you will absolutely love.

Time flies when you’re loving lingerie! I hadn’t realised how long it’s been since our last post here on the Blog. The past month has been quite busy with the release of Natasha plus my very quick trip to visit our manufacturer in China which is always an adventure!
Being in Australia it’s not far for us to travel with a relatively short 9 hour flight to Hong Kong and another couple of hours by train and taxi after an overnight stay. I did tweet out a pic of the room full of lingerie we utilise to plan samples and possible new releases for the next 12 months or so.

The company owner is a very lovely lady that is certainly not backward in coming forward if she thinks one of my designs is not ‘pretty enough’ for my customers. She likes to make suggestions (I think they’re more like instructions) in terms of colors and lace types. I also met one of the office staff guys this trip that acts as a ‘model’ to test out the fit for the male physique. I think he likes it a little bit too!
I only had a single full day in China itself but there was enough time to do a little bit of shopping and try some of the local cuisine. And beer. And though English will get you by just fine anywhere in Hong Kong, I have an interpreter friend that travels with me each time I’m in China. If you are venturing outside a major city centre or want to haggle, then you will need someone that speaks the local language.

I like a good cup of tea and really enjoy the ceremony around going to a tea shop and sitting down at a tea table. The process is interesting and the flavours vary more than you can imagine. However I like a good cup of coffee too and they are difficult to come by at times. Fortunately the hotel next to mine had a Starbucks in the foyer so I could get a fix for the day. I thought the name written on the side of my cup read ‘handsome westerner’ but my friends think it says ‘prematurely grey headed dude’. My interpreter said it loosely interprets as ‘foreigner’ which is probably being polite.

On the work side of things I think the visit went well. I hope to have a few samples here by the end of next week and will then work out what to order first. I’m also planning on releasing the new black embroidered style either late this week or early in April. Fingers crossed they arrive in the next couple of days.

Well it’s been a while since our last release and something new has been long overdue. The good news is we’ll have the white satin set (pictured below) arriving within the next couple of weeks.
The as yet unnamed set is comprised of a bra/panty/garter and is made very similar to the Genevieve set which has since sold out in a few of the sizes.
The satin is a one way stretch fabric that is both light and comfortable to wear and we expect it to be very popular. We also had to produce quite a few more of this style than we would normally and that means our customers will benefit.
