Lingerie giveaway! (Sorry, it’s all gone now :( )

From time to time we have quality control issues with lingerie from the manufacturer.  I’m guessing (hoping!) this is fairly normal and that’s how businesses end up with ‘seconds’.  This is really just a way of describing lingerie that has fairly minor problems such as a loose thread, discoloration a mark or something similar. Some of it has simply got a little too scrunched up in transit.

When we count in the stock, all these garments go into a basket that I like to call the ‘I don’t know what I’m going to do with all that lingerie but I’m not comfortable in selling it to anyone because I wouldn’t be happy with it’ basket.

So for our newsletter subscribers over the past couple of days, they’ve been receiving freebies with every order.  For every $40 USD or so in an order, we’re adding a free something.  A pair of panties, a bra or maybe even lingerie.  Spend $80 USD and get two garments, $120 and receive three garments.  And so on.

So now all our subscribers have had a head start and we’ve now given out the equivalent of around $3,000 worth of seconds, it’s open for anyone who wants to take advantage.

I thought we might run out of freebies by the end of next week, but it appears to be more popular than I anticipated!  I think this weekend will see the majority gone instead!

Either way, we’ll continue giving away the stock until it’s all gone and I’ll leave a note right here when we run out.

Sandra is on the loose!

We finally have Sandra available in our store!  Woo Hoo!  She is the second last set from our 2015/16 Collection with just one more set left to arrive.  Sandra’s family comes in a full panty, soft cup bra and there was a late decision to include a thong just for fun!  Read about her in the store and please pay close attention to the Product Descriptions for each garment so you get the sizing right.

Planning the 2016/17 range

I was fortunate enough to visit our manufacturer in China last month and begin planning our range for release over the second half of 2016 and first half of 2017.

I’ve gone a little more ambitious for the next range and included a swimwear set and a piece of sleepwear as well.  Plus there will be a range of bra/panty/lingerie as well.  If all the samples are successful, you should be in for some lovely lingerie over the next 18 months!

Below is a pic of one of the sample rooms in China during a break in planning.

Sample RoomIt was great to get back to China again and catch up with the people that work in the business there.  The hospitality is second to none and it’s interesting to see a culture with such a long history.  Except for the taxi drivers.  I think taxi drivers are the same all over the world.

We still have a couple of releases from the 2015/16 year to go and I expect the Sandra set to be available by April 11th or 12th at the latest.  I did add a thong to the set very late and after the model pics had been taken so just static pics for that.

I also discovered an issue with the bra and despite the fact that I love it, the band doesn’t offer as much stretch as I anticipated.  So I’ll be releasing it with an extender so it will fit correctly and sending one out with every Sandra bra sold.
