We’re giving away lingerie!

After 14 years of providing gorgeous lingerie to our wonderful customers around the world, we have decided to have a major cleanup in our warehouse and complete a full stock take over the next few weeks.

One of the issues we encounter from time to time are garments that don’t quite meet our expectations in terms of color or finish. The vast majority of guys and gurls are never going to notice these minor imperfections, but we do and we are not comfortable selling these garments to you.

At the same time, it would be an absolute tragedy for us to dispose of the lingerie when we know how much wear and appreciation our customers would get out of these items.

So while we’re busily counting stock (over 10,000 pieces!) we will be sorting out the seconds and adding a something to every order placed. In fact, we’ve already started from order number finishing in 927.

So for the foreseeable future, all orders will receive a freebie. And if you spend over $100 USD you will receive a lingerie piece of our choosing based on the sizes in your order along with free shipping!

Be aware there are limited sizes and styles so although we’re happy for you to include a preference in the notes on your order, we cannot guarantee anything. The majority of garments are panties and bras, some lingerie and can you believe we even found a few ‘C’ Strings!

Look, a man in lace – The sky is falling!

Whoa! When mangerie goes viral it really does go crazy.

We shouldn’t be surprised I guess.  Stories like this surface from time to time and the response borders on hysteria from some areas.  Though it’s not everyday the son of the United States President helps us out with a disapproving tweet!  Hopefully we’ll still be allowed to visit again as I think we left some money in Vegas last trip and I’d like to have it back thanks.

The funny thing is, lingerie wearing guys are generally pretty good at hiding their love of lingerie.  So the guy laughing with you could be perusing our store in the next few days trying to decide which garment to purchase.  (Nikita or Annabelle sets for comfort only, Lara for getting wicked in the bedroom, Carmen for sleeping and Katie Romper or any of our thongs and Vanessa mini skirt for getting in the mood…fast!

And it’s not all about the bras.  Our critics endlessly ask ‘but why the bra’ and the answer is simply because some of our customers love the feeling it gives them.  Some guys only love our briefs and are not into the bras at all.  Some like the lingerie because they love the one piece fit and feel.  It’s a personal choice.  Wives and girlfriends tend to buy their partners briefs or thongs as gifts with Valentines Day now only second to the Cyber Monday sale in terms of volume.

Seriously, just because one person doesn’t agree with another persons choice in wardrobe/hairstyle/sexual preference/political persuasion/religion doesn’t make one or the other right or wrong.  It doesn’t make one person better than the other.

Fortunately, we have thick skins here at HommeMystere (covered in super lightweight sexy lingerie) and we will move on.  To the next design..

With the new year upon us we have spent the past few days cleaning up our warehouse and looking at how many ‘seconds’ we have sitting around.

Every order that’s shipped out is checked over for faults whether it’s a pulled thread, discoloration or anything else.  Of course the occasional one slips through but we do tend to be fairly critical of what we retain as ‘unsaleable’.

So following our tidying up efforts we have plenty of this lingerie to give away.  Although the collection consists mainly of bras and panties, there are several pieces of lingerie there as well.

So from now until Valentines Day, we will be giving away our seconds with each order.  It will be a random giveaway so you won’t be able to request a specific piece.  We will try and match what we provide based on your order and try and get the sizing as accurate as possible.

The larger your order, the more we will give away.

I think it’s time to reward all of my blog readers with a freebie.  I’m sure both of you are a little bored with my intermittent posting but in my defense, I’m a man of few words.

In an earlier post you may have seen how much I raved about our Taylor Teddy.  I wasn’t kidding, it’s easily the nicest Teddy we have made in terms of fit and comfort.  Wear it to bed, wear it out under clothes or wear it alone around the house, it’s a super comfy piece of lingerie. But as has happened once before, there is a little issue with the Teddy.   This time the Teddy is perfect in every sense except for some minor discoloration in the peach fabric.

So instead of going through the whole return it to the factory and get more made and sent to me and so on and so on, I have a better idea.  It’s far more fun and rewarding to give them away.  Kind of.  Because there is a catch.

Lingerie giveaway! (Sorry, it’s all gone now :( )

From time to time we have quality control issues with lingerie from the manufacturer.  I’m guessing (hoping!) this is fairly normal and that’s how businesses end up with ‘seconds’.  This is really just a way of describing lingerie that has fairly minor problems such as a loose thread, discoloration a mark or something similar. Some of it has simply got a little too scrunched up in transit.

When we count in the stock, all these garments go into a basket that I like to call the ‘I don’t know what I’m going to do with all that lingerie but I’m not comfortable in selling it to anyone because I wouldn’t be happy with it’ basket.

So for our newsletter subscribers over the past couple of days, they’ve been receiving freebies with every order.  For every $40 USD or so in an order, we’re adding a free something.  A pair of panties, a bra or maybe even lingerie.  Spend $80 USD and get two garments, $120 and receive three garments.  And so on.

So now all our subscribers have had a head start and we’ve now given out the equivalent of around $3,000 worth of seconds, it’s open for anyone who wants to take advantage.

I thought we might run out of freebies by the end of next week, but it appears to be more popular than I anticipated!  I think this weekend will see the majority gone instead!
