As we get closer to Christmas we have decided to give away more of our seconds stock to let our customers celebrate with us!
So through December right up to January 1st 2024, we are including a free garment with orders over $50 USD (not including shipping).
Anyone that has already placed an order has had something extra included.
For international customers outside Australia, today (December 6) is the last day you have to guarantee receiving orders shipped via standard mail. Express mail orders placed up to December 12 are still expected to reach international customers prior to Christmas but we strongly recommend placing orders asap!

As we continue to liquidate stock in the lead up to Christmas it’s time we provided an update.
Our current prices will remain in place through the Black Friday sale period as they are as low as we can go while still being able to ship internationally.
In the first week of November we have seen a substantial increase in sale with a number of garments just about sold out.
After 15 years of HommeMystere, we have decided to call it a day on our lingerie journey.
With our personal circumstances changing and the business far exceeding anything we could have imagined back in 2008, we have made the decision to move on to the next phase of our lives.
We will have the business officially listed for sale from July 1st.
Depending on the outcome and level of enquiry on the sale, we may switch the website to a wholesale only model in order to liquidate stock from that date.
We cannot guarantee what opportunities there may be for retail purchases of HommeMystere stock after a sale so if there is a particular garment you like, now is the time to purchase
In the meantime we have removed the ‘free shipping’ option from the store as we cannot cover the cost at the reduced prices.
On a personal note, thanks to everyone that has visited, purchased and taken part in our journey. We will endeavor to keep you updated as circumstances change.

After 14 years of providing gorgeous lingerie to our wonderful customers around the world, we have decided to have a major cleanup in our warehouse and complete a full stock take over the next few weeks.
One of the issues we encounter from time to time are garments that don’t quite meet our expectations in terms of color or finish. The vast majority of guys and gurls are never going to notice these minor imperfections, but we do and we are not comfortable selling these garments to you.
At the same time, it would be an absolute tragedy for us to dispose of the lingerie when we know how much wear and appreciation our customers would get out of these items.
So while we’re busily counting stock (over 10,000 pieces!) we will be sorting out the seconds and adding a something to every order placed. In fact, we’ve already started from order number finishing in 927.
So for the foreseeable future, all orders will receive a freebie. And if you spend over $100 USD you will receive a lingerie piece of our choosing based on the sizes in your order along with free shipping!
Be aware there are limited sizes and styles so although we’re happy for you to include a preference in the notes on your order, we cannot guarantee anything. The majority of garments are panties and bras, some lingerie and can you believe we even found a few ‘C’ Strings!
Looks like it’s been quite some time between blog posts and it’s time I explained. Eyelashes. I guess it’s probably just natural guys and gurls start off liking a nice pair of satin, silky or shiny underwear. Then we might try on the wife’s bra or slip just for fun. That feeling of doing the wrong thing, being a bit sneaky or simply having some harmless fun and being a rebel becomes easier over time.
The slope becomes slippery and you suddenly find yourself in knee high boots with 4 inch heels, bodycon dress and a pile of foundation in 26 different shades! Yet the effect isn’t enough and you think maybe eyelashes will do the trick. Well good luck with that! If you thought it was hard enough doing lingerie, outerwear, boots and makeup you’re in for a shock when it comes to eyelashes. Application of those expensive, delicate, sticky or magnetic SOB’s will surely test your patience. Or is that just me?
Disregarding those eyelashes, next time you your wife/girlfriend/significant other delays you because they’re ‘putting on their makeup’, show some appreciation. It’s a work of art and great art takes time so suck it up and tell her how great she looks!
Our new lingerie sets have arrived and are now available in store. They are so new we haven’t even planned a photo shoot as yet! The new sets including Emma Teddy, Chloe Thong, Bra and Suspender Skirt along with Jasmine Panty and Bra represent a change in our business.
We have finally reached a tipping point in terms of manufacturing which is great news for our customers. It means our volumes equate to better prices for our customers and hopefully an ever evolving and growing business.
Of course this isn’t possible without the continuing support of our customers and as a reward we will be releasing our new garments at the lowest possible price and in the case of Emma, a small loss. The reason is to reward our loyal customers and provide visitors with an opportunity to sample our quality at a reasonable price point.

Whoa! When mangerie goes viral it really does go crazy.
We shouldn’t be surprised I guess. Stories like this surface from time to time and the response borders on hysteria from some areas. Though it’s not everyday the son of the United States President helps us out with a disapproving tweet! Hopefully we’ll still be allowed to visit again as I think we left some money in Vegas last trip and I’d like to have it back thanks.
The funny thing is, lingerie wearing guys are generally pretty good at hiding their love of lingerie. So the guy laughing with you could be perusing our store in the next few days trying to decide which garment to purchase. (Nikita or Annabelle sets for comfort only, Lara for getting wicked in the bedroom, Carmen for sleeping and Katie Romper or any of our thongs and Vanessa mini skirt for getting in the mood…fast!
And it’s not all about the bras. Our critics endlessly ask ‘but why the bra’ and the answer is simply because some of our customers love the feeling it gives them. Some guys only love our briefs and are not into the bras at all. Some like the lingerie because they love the one piece fit and feel. It’s a personal choice. Wives and girlfriends tend to buy their partners briefs or thongs as gifts with Valentines Day now only second to the Cyber Monday sale in terms of volume.
Seriously, just because one person doesn’t agree with another persons choice in wardrobe/hairstyle/sexual preference/political persuasion/religion doesn’t make one or the other right or wrong. It doesn’t make one person better than the other.
Fortunately, we have thick skins here at HommeMystere (covered in super lightweight sexy lingerie) and we will move on. To the next design..

With the Aussie financial year behind us, we recently decided to change the warehouse layout of our lingerie. Now we have entered our ninth year it’s sometimes difficult to remember where we started and how we have grown over the years.
So when we recently began adding some shelving to assist in the layout of our little warehouse, we decided to have a look back at where we began.
Like any small business, we started off from home with a few plastic boxes to hold the lingerie. At the time we were making just a few of each size. Literally. So if you ever purchased a Taboo garment, they are pretty scarce now! While we couldn’t find any pics of the first few ranges of lingerie, we did find this one. Don’t mind the mess. It was pretty crazy for a while dodging boxes around the house!
It was lingerie in every direction for quite a while. Our little dog Peppa is going onto 14 years old now!
Then we made our first step into outside storage. It had to be somewhere close, gave good access and was secure. We found a storage company renting single garage space with roller door but no power. It was pretty cozy but we managed to get things done there for about 18 months before we outgrew the space.
It was a pretty cozy space but did the job and cleared the house out!
After getting tired of moving cartons, squeezing in and out of the place and worrying about weather intruding into the shed, we moved on to something bigger. It was time to move into a double garage space at a different location and it even had a powerpoint! We could make up orders at night and even have a heater for the winter. Luxury.
Stepping it up a notch with access to power.
After growing even more we decided to make a leap into a real industrial unit with normal rent, access to the internet, power and phone. Heady days. It was a decent size lease and what we would describe as feeling like it was a ‘real’ business. Not just a fun hobby to do at night and weekends. There was plenty of space and we set up for the long term.

There was still some spare room at the front of the warehouse so we decided to go crazy and design a showroom any lingerie loving guy (and plenty of women) would be pleased to visit. It wasn’t pretty at the start but it soon turned out to be something special.

Unfortunately we didn’t get as many visitors as we hoped -although those that did come in certainly enjoyed the experience. Then we had suffered a hit when our lease was unexpectedly ended early. All that setup for nought. And we had to move quickly. So we moved into our current position and have recently added shelving to enable easier picking of orders and to tidy up the place.
A showroom might still be on the agenda for one day but for the moment we need to regroup, expand our range of lingerie and and build the online business.

We think we can stay here for a few years yet provided our lease continues to be renewed. Fingers crossed we can outgrow this place too one day!
